Australian Made, Australian Grown Export Projects

The Australian Made, Australian Grown brand is becoming a familiar face on the world stage. Thousands of products carrying the logo are sold around the world and it is now getting an even stronger presence in the global market place with a part Government funded export project promoting the symbol in selected markets.

The announcement of a $2.7 million federal government export grant, matched dollar for dollar by AMAG was welcomed in 2007. The three year grant is assisting the Campaign in continuing promotions in the US, as well as expanding these promotions to markets such as China/Hong Kong, Canada, the Middle East, South East Asia and the UK.

The stylised kangaroo has been hopping from one major event to another over the course of the Export Project, helping Australian businesses promote their products and produce. The emphatic displays of the logo at a broad spectrum of events have assisted consumers from Dubai to Hong Kong identify authentic Australian goods - and our research shows that the logo has proven to be an effective export tool.

AMAG, together with AUNEW Group, recently published the Directory of Australian made products in China 2010. It's the first ever bilingual directory and will greatly assist Chinese consumers locate Australian products currently available in China.
